Memorial Day, Every Day

I’m not sure why specifically this Memorial Day I’m touched so much. Perhaps it’s because yesterday I just so happened to finish the “Dichotomy of Leadership” yesterday and heard for the first time “Remember Me” from Jocko Willink while I was working the soil, spring grass on my feet, cool breeze in face.

Or my friend Alison Dart Banholzer and her families story of her husband Dave and the album “Love Lives On” that was just released by Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). It was written by families to remember and support fallen heroes who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice, each story and song behind it is special especially Dave’s song “A New Set of Wings”. Learn and listen to the album and check out this news story about their family and the creation of the album.

I’m so grateful, so blessed, and so lucky to have the freedoms, opportunity, and life and breath to chase it, it inspires me to push harder, dream bigger, fight longer, and never give up. Live every day and love every person to the fullest. 🙏

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
